This graceful and delicate necklace is perfect for ladies of all ages. The chain is sterling plated, with the anodized silver medal measuring only 1/2 inch in length. It is finally detailed and high quality, with a lovely touch of blue enamel. The chain, of serpentine design, is 18" long, with a round jewelry clasp. 

The Miraculous Medal was brought to us by Saint Catherine Laboure in 1832, after the Blessed Mother appeared to her in a little convent in Paris. 

Our heavenly Mother asked Catherine to have the medal struck in honor of her Immaculate Conception. Many devout souls have since worn the Medal, and some have experienced great miracles through the use of blessed medals. Hence the name,  Miraculous Medal.
