Theresa of the Roses Medal/Pendant

Here's a medal of my latest painting of my friend St. Therese of Lisieux. I try to imagine I'm with my Saints when I paint them, and with Therese, I get the feeling she is looking back at me with warm love. I used the classic icon pose for her and added my own touches. The falling rose petals are part of her shower of roses on us. Ask her for some! She loves to make friends!

I hand make my medals with glass and lead-free solder. They are waterproof but not break-proof. If treated kindly, they last for year. Can be worn on ribbon or chain. 

Original is acrylic on canvas. 16x20. It was painted as a Confirmation gift, and is not available for sale.
