With its lace and doves, this Immaculate Heart is a companion piece to a lovely old Sacred Heart holy card. The seven swords are the Seven Sorrows of Mary. We love the roses and the small rosary on the basket below. We've restored this image towards its original beauty, where the vibrancy of the colors reflects the intensity of both the joys and the sorrows of Mary, and most of all her love for God, her Son, and for all people.

We find that keeping devotional art in our home helps keep us mindful of the spiritual side of our lives.

There is a richness to vintage Catholic art which we love. You don't need to matte it unless you want to keep the glass off the surface, otherwise the lace and the border around the picture are plenty enough visual space, in our opinion anyway.
