Set of 3 or 10 postcards, measuring 4x6 inches each, to mail to friends, or even frame as gifts! Thick, glossy paper.
The image of Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared miraculously on the cloak of Juan Diego, a simple indigenous peasant, on the hill of Tepeyac near Mexico City on December 12, 1531. Today it is displayed in the Basilica of Guadalupe nearby, the most visited Catholic shrine in the world. Pope John Paul II declared her patroness of the Americas.
She painted this version in acrylics and colored pencil on paper. The original was approximately 7 x 11 inches.
