St. Zita (1212-1272), besides having one of the coolest names ever, was an Italian woman known for her holiness and compassion. She had to leave her home at age 12 to become a housekeeper with a rich family eight miles away. She stayed with them the rest of her life. She did all her chores to perfection, as she was doing them for the Glory of God. Frequently she would say, "a servant is not holy if she is not busy." She attended daily Mass and was constantly doing what it says on this holy card, "les oeuvres de misericorde corporelle." Corporal works of mercy.

She became famous for all her loving acts of charity and the heavenly visions she had. She was sought out for spiritual advice by many people, including the rich and powerful. When she died, she was immediately proclaimed a Saint and soon canonized by Rome. She is the patroness of domestic workers. Her feast day is April 27.

** IMPORTANT ** The image is smaller than the paper! There is a white border of about 0.5" inch for 5x7", 1.3" for 8.5x11, or 1.6" for 11x14" pictures. Fine art printers have to do this because the pictures are almost never the same ratio of the rectangle shape of the standard paper sizes. It gets the whole picture in the paper without cropping, and it gives the framed picture a nice finished look without a matt.

- Acid-free paper
- Archival pigments, rated to last for generations.
- Cardboard backer
- Above story of the art
- Enclosed in a tight-fitting, crystal clear bag.
