Vintage Sacred Heart of Jesus with Doves – The Source of Grace – Based on an Antique Holy Card – Catholic Art Print – Catholic Gift

This print, entitled " The Source of Graces," is a beautiful symbol of how Christ satisfies the thirsty soul. Doves were often used in antique art to depict souls. When Christ's Heart was pierced on the Cross, blood and water flowed out, symbolizing the Eucharist and the forgiveness found in Baptism and the sacrament of Reconciliation.

The publisher is Turgis, one of the original French holy card publishers and one of our favorites. They have many beautiful, color-rich lithographs such as this one.

** IMPORTANT ** THE IMAGE IS SMALLER THAN THE PAPER! There is a white border of about 0.5" inch for 5x7", 1.3" for 8.5x11", or 1.6" for 11x14" pictures. All Approx! Fine art printers do this because the images are almost never the same rectangular ratio of the standard paper sizes. It also gives the prints a finished look, and lets them look good in a frame without a matt.
