St. Teresa of the Andes
Exclusive Restored Photograph

Of St. Teresa of the Andes, the Vatican says, "The serenity of her face was a reflection of the divine guest within." At the age of 6, the future Saint devoted herself to God. For the rest of her childhood was unusually devout. At age 14, she had a revelation from God that she would be a Carmelite nun and that holiness should be her goal. At some point she also had a revelation from God that she would die young.

She had a deep prayer life and constantly spoke of God to her friends, giving them assistance and consolations. She was known by all as loving, devout, fervent, and cheerful, and she enjoyed playing sports. She entered the Carmel near her home in Santiago Chile, on May 7, 1919, just a few months before of her 19th birthday. She died a novice 11 months later, just short of making her final vows. Canonized by St. John Paul II in 1993, her feast day is April 12 on the general calendar. She is a patron of young people, and of bodily illness.

She is the fourth Saint Teresa in Carmel, together with Saints Teresa of Avila, of Florence, and of Lisieux. Her friends called her Juanita, and you can too. She is still often referred to today by that name, according to the Vatican's website. We ask for her prayers for the protection of the young and especially for the protection of the Carmel.

We hope this restoration, using cutting edge AI technology, helps you draw closer to our Saint, and thus closer to our Lord.

** IMPORTANT ** THE IMAGE IS SMALLER THAN THE PAPER! There is a white border of about 0.5" inch for 5x7", 1.3" for 8.5x11", or 1.6" for 11x14" pictures. All Approx! Fine art printers do this because the images are almost never the same rectangular ratio of the standard paper sizes. It also gives the prints a finished look, and lets them look good in a frame without a matt.

- Acid-free paper
- Archival pigments, rated to last for generations.
- Cardboard backer
- Above story of the art
- Enclosed in a tight-fitting, crystal clear bag.

Thanks for your interest!
