This little medal has two images, the hearts of Jesus and Mary, one on each side!

Sue Kouma Johnson painted the Immaculate Heart of Mary with acrylics and colored pencils. It is the symbol of Mary's love for Jesus and for us. Her heart is surrounded by roses to show the beauty of her pure love. The flame is the flame of love. The sword is what Simeon spoke of when Jesus was presented in the temple and he said to Mary, "a sword shall pierce your heart, that the thoughts of many may be revealed."

The other side portrays the Heart of Jesus, as revealed to Saint Margaret Mary, Saint Gertrude, and others. It is all aflame with love, surmounted by the Cross, and encircled with the Crown of Thorns, which our dear Savior wore on the Cross.

The hearts of Jesus and Mary are forever united, since the first moment of His conception in her womb.

If you want one for a key chain, we can custom make your medium charm/medal with a thicker glass for $3. Small charm/medals don't need thicker glass, but either way, they need to be on a chain before you add them to your key ring.
