Jesus and Mary attend the dying Joseph in this traditional Catohlic print. Joseph died the way we all hope to -- in the arms of Jesus and Mary; Mary praying for us and Jesus blessing us. A holy death.

The Latin on the front is "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord." (Revelation 14:13). The angel has told John to write that down. The Holy Spirit then says, "Yes," said the Spirit, "let them find rest from their labors, for their works accompany them."*

Joseph's tools from his work are by his bed. Notice the right angle, indicating he led a moral life.
