We are pleased to offer you this exclusive photo restoration or St. Thérèse of Lisieux holding a rosary. Her sister Céline took the photo on March 17, 1896, in the inner court yard of the convent at Lisieux.
In her autobiography, Thérèse admitted she sometimes had a hard time concentrating on the Rosary prayers. But she had a devotion to the Rosary nonetheless. She said this of it: "The Rosary is a long chain that links heaven and earth. One end of it is in our hands and the other end is in the hands of the holy Virgin... The Rosary prayer rises like incense to the feet of the Almighty. Mary responds at once like a beneficial dew, bringing new life to human hearts."
We're really proud of our restorers, Amine and Boogie, for doing this incredible work. We think we've made a tiny but real contribution to the devotion of St. Thérèse with the restoration of this rare photo.
Like all of our restored photos, we hope they let you feel closer to the Saint, even to the point of friendship, and thus closer to our greatest friend, Jesus.
!!!!! IMPORTANT!!!! IMAGE IS SMALLER THAN THE PAPER! There is a white border around the image. About 1/2" on 5x7, 1.3" on 8.5x11, 1.6" on 11x14 and larger. It gives the print a finished look when framed without a matt.
- Archival pigments, rated to last for generations.
- Acid Free paper
- Cardboard backer (except for 16x20, which is shipped in a tube)
- Above story of the art
- Enclosed in a tight-fitting, crystal clear bag.
