Sue Kouma Johnson painted this pretty portrait of the Little Flower in vintage sepia tones. The other side contains a print of a detail of Sue's "Rose" painting.
Saint Therese of Lisieux, also known as "the Little Flower," lived and died at the end of the nineteenth century as a girl, really. She was only 24 when she died, as a Carmelite nun. During her last illness she was ordered to write her story, which she called The Story of a Soul. It spells out her simple spirituality, the way of spiritual childhood.
Saint Therese is the saint of the Little Way, meaning doing everything with love, no matter how small.
All of our pendants are made with lead free solder and glass.
If you put the charm/medal on a key chain, it may get broken if not treated kindly. It is glass. If you want one for a key chain, we can custom make your medium charm/medal with a thicker glass for $3. Small charm/medals don't need thicker glass, but either way, they need to be on a chain before you add them to your key ring.
