Saint Therese of Lisieux – Close-up – Exclusive Restored Photo – Archival Quality – Catholic Art Print
I love the expression in this close-up of St. Therese of Lisieux. It's taken in the convent right after performing her play about Joan of Arc. I think she looks dreamy and gentle and other-worldly.
This is an exclusive restoration we offer, which puts the Saint closer to you because of the vividness of the detail.
We've added a touch of color for warmth while still preserving the sepia, antique quality.
By the way, that hair is not hers; it's a wig she wore over her habit as part of her costume.
If you like this picture, you might also enjoy a drawing I did based on this photo. I drew it with her in habit, looking directly out at the viewer, and people often tell me they love her expression. ** IMPORTANT ** IMAGE IS SMALLER THAN THE PAPER!!
There is a white border around the image. About 0.5" for 5x7, 1.3" for 8.5x11", 1.6" for 11x14", and 1.75" for 13x17", so the image is smaller than the paper!!! The border gives the print a nice finished lok when framed without a matt.
- Acid-free fine art paper.
- Archival pigments, rated to last for generations.
- Cardboard backer
- Above story of the art
- Enclosed in a tight-fitting, crystal clear bag.
Thanks for your interest!
