This beautiful, classy Christmas card, "The Nativity," is by Mikhail Nesterov, a Symbolist painter of the early 20th Century. It is printed on a sturdy card stock with a satin finish, and inside says "Come, let us adore him," with a citation to Luke 2:15-18, which describes the scene painted here.

Mikhail Nesterov (1862-1942) did mostly religious subjects, and he clearly had a deep heart for Mary. This Nativity exudes the quiet and profound moment when our Savior entered the world. We see the strength and beauty of Mary as a mother, the wonderment of the shepherds, the ministering angels.

Suitable for framing. It looks GREAT in a gold or a dark frame, so you could run over to your local hobby store and get a frame and make a neat little gift of this. Give your friends and family a faithful correspondence, with tidings of joy!
