This delicate "Immaculate Heart of Mary" was done by Catholic artist Fritz Kunz (1868-1947), the premier Catholic artist in Switzerland of that time. Kunz was a church painter, draftsman and mosaicist, influenced much at first by the Beuron School of Catholic art which emphasized devotion and metaphysical calm.
