As a girl, Therese loved Eucharistic processions. She loved strewing rose petals before the Eucharist. She wrote, "I loved especially the processions in honor of the Blessed Sacrament. What a joy it was for me to throw flowers beneath the feet of God! Before allowing them to fall to the ground, I threw them as high as I could, and I was never so happy as when I saw my roses touch the sacred monstrance." (source: atxcatholic.com)

It is a particularly lovely thought that her promise to spend her Heaven showering us with roses was preceded by her showering rose petals as a little girl. Doing both with joy.

This was originally some artwork put out about the time of her canonization in 1925. There was a series of postcards with scenes from her life. We have a copy of that set. They are all nicely done.

** IMPORTANT ** IMAGE IS SMALLER THAN THE PAPER!!
There is a white border around the image. About 0.5" for 5x7, 1.3" for 8.5x11", 1.6" for 11x17", and 1.75" for 13x17", so the image is smaller than the paper!!!

- Acid-free fine art paper.
- Archival pigments, rated to last for generations.
- Cardboard backer
- Above story of the art
- Enclosed in a tight-fitting, crystal clear bag.
