This serene picture of Mary was painted by Carlo Dolci, or possibly one of his students, back in the 1600s. It is one of our favorite pictures of Mary, and it can haver a calming effect on our hearts.

On the back, we have placed a traditional prayer to Mary asking her to fill our hearts with love so we can fall in love with her and her son.

As a footnote on the art, you might find it interesting he painted a very similar face for Sarah in her marriage to Tobit, a painting which is in our shop.
