Christ the High Priest by Brother Max Schmazl. Brother Max was an industrious painter monk, the ideal of the Nazarene art movement, and hugely famous in his day. Alas, his fame has left the Earth, but his art is still admired. Besides his paintings, like this or The Last Supper, you’ve probably seen his line drawings as they are still widely used as Catholic clip art. His work is usually intricate and theological. That's Melchizedek on the lower left, and Aaron on the lower right.

On the back of this card, we have a good prayer for our priests.
