This beautiful, endearing card says on the front, “Oh Jesus, full of goodness, I want to love you faithfully!” It was printed in Paris we think about 1870 or thereabouts. It is very likely that our dear little friend, St. Therese of Lisieux, would have seen it. We know she loved holy cards. With Jesus as a Child, and the talk about Love, we thought this beautiful prayer our little friend wrote would be perfect for Christmas Morning. God bless you all.
Our restoration of this holy card is one of our series of Christmas Holy cards. We've worked hard to provide a good variety of beautiful artwork, along with a rich variety of prayers, meditations, and scripture readings on the back. We've restored these beautiful old cards as a little way to help strengthen people's spiritual lives and make our Christmas celebrations more prayerful.

O Little Infant Jesus,
my only treasure,
I abandon myself to Your every wish.
I seek no other joy than that of calling
forth Your sweet smile.
Grant me the graces and the virtues
of Your Holy Childhood,
so that on the day of my birth
into Heaven the angels and saints
may recognize me
as Your little spouse.
Amen.
Front: “O Jesus Plein de bonte, je veux vous aimer fidelement” translates to, “O Jesus Full of Goodness, I want to love you faithfully.”
Bouasse-Lebel, circa 1870s.
