New! Crowning of Mary Holy Card – Prayer to the Queen of Heaven – Enric Vidal – pack of 10/100/1000 – Madonna and Child

August 22nd is the Feast of the Coronation of Mary, also called the Feast of the Queenship of Mary. This pretty blue card is by Enric M. Vidal, a 19th Century painter from Barcelona. The boy Jesus crowns his mother, and other children of Mary, like you and me, are joyfully watching on.

The prayer on the back celebrates her Queenship and closeness to us. It's a lovely, simple prayer. We hope this card brings you peace and grace.

This picture by Vidal is similar to another one of his, The Madonna and Child, which is one of the most beautiful we've ever seen. We also have several other products by him. Search "Vidal" in our shop. Enric Monserdà Vidal (1850 - 1926) was a painter, decorator, furniture maker, and an artistic director for church restoration projects. He was born in Calle de la Palla, Spain, and did most of his work in Barcelona. He mostly did religious work.
