New! Good Shepherd Holy Card – pack of 10/100/1000 – Restored Vintage Card

This Victorian era picture is a classic icon of Jesus as the Good Shepherd. This lovely, warm holy card was originally published around the turn of the last century in France by the Bouasse-Jeune Company. We are amazed not just at the delicate beauty but at the printer's craftsmanship displayed, how it brings out the subtle details of the painting. The sunrise behind Jesus, the details of the figures, the careful shading of the colors, they are all superbly done. There are hundreds of versions of the Good Shepherd out there, but this is our favorite. This was one of Bouasse-Jeune's main images in the early decades of the 20th Century.

In our restoration, we have added a prayer by St. Gregory of Nyssa to the back. We hope that this beautiful prayer to the Good Shepherd will calm your soul and draw you closer to Jesus.
