A new Christmas holy card for 2025! It's from the great Medieval painter, Jean Bourdichon, from his illustrated Book of the Hours, a prayer book for Anne of Brittany, Queen of France. He figured out how to paint a night scene, and look how he made Mary glow in the light of Christ! On the back is an undated Medieval Christmas prayer that came from occupied Spain some time earlier.
