One of our favorite Valentines, as a holy card, in a beautiful frame. Perfect for a desk top, countertop, book shelf, or bedside stand. Wherever you’d like a devotional picture of the Saint Valentine.

This is a great Valentine to give as a gift. It's important for everyone to know that Valentine is a Saint in the Church. Although history is a little clouded as to what is exactly true of the man, he was canonized about a century after his death, so there were probably people alive who remembered their parents or grandparents talking about him.

He was a Roman doctor and a Catholic priest. He healed many people, some miraculously. He taught about God's love. He was arrested for being a Christian, some say for helping people get married in a time when marriage was not valued. He miraculously cured his jailer's daughter, Julia, and then wrote to her about God's love. He signed it, "your Valentine." Even to this day, we still talk about being someone's Valentine.

These small framed holy cards are what we call the "adorable" size, and look good on desks, shelves, bedstands, etc. They make great, unique and memorable gifts to your devout friends, or lukewarm friends whom you can help warm up a bit. Our mission is to “Strengthen the Faithful and Evangelize through Beauty.” We hope these framed miniatures do just that for you and the people you know.

Materials:

Frames are metal or plastic, with either glass or plastic protective fronts. The more expensive ones are glass and metal, or sometimes resin; the less expensive are plastic or resin with clear plastic fronts. The plastic ones are NICE, though, just so you know. We're picky about this stuff.

Dimensions:

The holy card is 2.75 x 4.25" inches. Interior dimensions of the frame are 3.5x5.0. Exterior dimensions are on average 4.0 x 5.5" inches, but vary a little depending on which frame you choose.
