This is a sweet pendant/holy medal of Our Lady of La Vang, which can be worn on a chain or ribbon. Handmade with lead free solder and glass and 2 prints, back to back, of my painting. Available with or without the beautiful silver plated snake chain of your choice.
At the end of the 18th Century, Catholics were being persecuted in Vietnam, and so they hid in the jungle. Many of them became sick, but they met to pray the rosary every night at the foot of a large tree. Our Lady appeared to them and showed them how to make medicine from plant leaves in the forest.
Our Lady of Lavang is the patroness of Vietnamese Catholics, and her feast day is celebrated on November 21.
