Saint Agatha was a Roman 3rd Century virgin martyr who suffered much for her faith. She was sent to a house of prostitution as a mockery of her virginity but was miraculously preserved. Later, she was cruelly tortured before being put to death. Her last prayer was, " O Lord Jesus Christ, good Master, I give You thanks that You granted me victory over the executioners' tortures. Grant now that I may happily dwell in Your never-ending glory." After her death, it is said that the eruption of Mt Etna was stopped by prayers to St Agatha. She is patron saint of those with breast cancer, firefighters, nurses, jewelers, and others.

I painted the original image with colored pencils and acrylics. She holds a palm branch, symbol of martyrdom, and a volcano is in the background.

The same image is on both sides.

Available with or without the beautiful silver plated snake chain of your choice.

All of our pendants and ornaments are made with lead free solder and glass.

If you put the charm/medal on a key chain, it may get broken if not treated kindly. It is glass. If you want one for a key chain, we can custom make your medium charm/medal with a thicker glass for $3. Small charm/medals don't need thicker glass, but either way, they need to be on a chain before you add them to your key ring.
