I love antique holy cards, and this is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. It makes a perfect accent piece as a devotional item in your home. Surrounding yourself with Catholic art helps your faith life. I rotate pieces in my home to keep things fresh.

The print is really sharp, and the colors are rich. The holy card is long out of copyright and is now in the public domain. We print it on special art paper with archival quality pigments, rated to last for many generations without fading when kept out of the direct sun.

The holy card it's based on was done by Philip Kemper from Dayton, Ohio, in the 1880s. He ended up printing millions in over 230 languages and distributing them all over the world. He did it to promote a devotion to the Sacred Heart. The 12 promises in the writings of Sister Margaret Mary had been discerned by someone else, but Mr. Kemper tabulated them and put them on the cards. He received a special, personal Papal audience and blessing for his work.

** IMPORTANT ** THE IMAGE IS SMALLER THAN THE PAPER! There is a white border of about 0.5" inch for 5x7", 1.3" for 8.5x11", or 1.6" for 11x14" pictures. All Approx! Fine art printers do this because the images are almost never the same rectangular ratio of the standard paper sizes. It also gives the prints a finished look, and lets them look good in a frame without a matt.

- Acid-free paper
- Archival pigments, rated to last for generations.
- Cardboard backer
- Above story of the art
- Enclosed in a tight-fitting, crystal clear bag.
