Apparently, she was courted by the Emperor Diocletian but she had vowed her virginity to Christ. In his rage, he had her brutally tortured and killed at age thirteen. Every image I have seen portrays her with black hair. The anchor is a symbol of faith and also part of her martyrdom, along with the arrows. I incorporated the martyr's palm into the background and dressed her in red for martyrs. She is patroness of infants, children, and youth. Her feast day is August 11.
The same image is on both sides. Please choose small, medium, or large size.
All my pendants are made with lead free solder and glass. Great on a chain or bracelet. I offer a ball chain for $4 elsewhere in my shop.
If you put the charm/medal on a key chain, it may get broken if not treated kindly. It is glass. If you want one for a key chain, I can custom make your medium charm/medal with a thicker glass for $2. Small charm/medals don't need thicker glass, but either way, they need to be on a chain before you add them to your key ring.
All my jewelry orders are sent gift wrapped as shown, and I include a holy card of my drawing of Pope Francis!
