St Don Bosco (St. John Bosco)
Restored Photograph

Doesn't he look pleasant? He looks like someone we'd like to know. His expression is strong, frank, and friendly. He looks like someone who is easy to get along with. Who enjoys being with you. Who laughs easily. This is, after all, Don Bosco (1815-1888), the man who would entertain bad boys and orphans in Turin, Italy, by juggling and doing stunts and magic tricks. The boys _loved_ him. They would leave the streets and their lives of crime and come to his oratorio. There he would teach them about the ways of God. And entertain them!

A lot of times we have the idea that maybe we wouldn't really want to have a Saint come over to our house for dinner, let alone Jesus, because we would feel so uncomfortable around them, so aware of our shortcomings. But that gives the idea of holiness a certain stiffness, a joyless quality, which is simply not true. Look at this man! It would be a joy to be with him, to be his friend!

We hope this exclusive photo restoration lets you feel closer to St. Don Bosco, and thus to Jesus, and to want to be friends with them in Heaven! St. John Bosco, "Don Bosco," is the Patron Saint of schoolchildren and magicians. His Feat Day is January 31, and he is ready right now to hear your prayers!

** IMPORTANT ** THE IMAGE IS SMALLER THAN THE PAPER! There is a white border of about 0.5" inch for 5x7", 1.3" for 8.5x11", or 1.6" for 11x14" pictures. All Approx! Fine art printers do this because the images are almost never the same rectangular ratio of the standard paper sizes. It also gives the prints a finished look, and lets them look good in a frame without a matt.

- Acid-free paper
- Archival pigments, rated to last for generations.
- Cardboard backer
- Above story of the art
- Enclosed in a tight-fitting, crystal clear bag.

Thanks for your interest!
