This is one of my favorite Padre Pio quotes. St. Padre Pio is one of the greatest Saints of the Twentieth Century. He was associated with many miracles in his life. Among them was warding off Allied bombers away from his village during World War II, as reported by the pilots of those bombers. St. Pope John Paul II asked him to pray for a friend, sick unto death, who then recovered. Many, many other stories tell of this amazing man's holiness and devotion to God. If you don't know much about this man, we deeply encourage you to read about him, or watch the movies based on his life. He is astonishing, and a great counterpoint to those who think the age of miracles has passed.
