This "Immaculate Heart of Mary" was done by Catholic artist Fritz Kunz (1868-1947), the premier Catholic artist in Switzerland of that time. Kunz was a church painter, draftsman and mosaicist, influence much at first by the Beuron School of Catholic art which emphasized devotion and metaphysical calm. (source:

This particular painting of Mary from 1913 still has that formal calm, but it also shows an Art Nouveau influence. It is mystical and graceful. It shows Mary's tranquility but also suggests a personal depth. The Immaculate Heart of Mary, which at the time of this painting Catholics called the Sacred Heart of Mary, means her interior life. We are invited by Heaven to have a deeply intimate union with Jesus and Mary within their hearts. It's great to be a Catholic. :)

This sticker can help remind us to accept Mary's invitation into union with her.

It can also be a good conversation opener for non-Catholics who see its beauty and ask you about it.

Stick on tumblers, laptops, skateboards, book covers, cars, bikes, etc.
